This is an Instructor-led course for the Lancer Evolution X.

 40/50 Series A/T Diagnosis and Repair (AT2)
To provide experienced Mitsubishi Motors automatic transmission repair technicians with the skills and knowledge required to diagnose and repair possible causes of 40/50 series automatic transaxle malfunctions. Upon completion of this course, the technician will be able to diagnose possible causes of malfunction symptoms of a 40/50 series transaxle, determine whether transaxle removal and disassembly will be required, perform key skills required to overhaul a W4A42 transaxle.

Advanced Emissions Diagnosis (AED)
Advanced Emissions Diagnosis (AED) will familiarize you with federal legislation that required vehicles to meet specific emission standards and vehicle designs that automotive manufacturers used to meet those standards. You will learn how these standards led to the development of On-Board Computer Diagnostics and you will get practice using the MUTIII to retrieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and complete Readiness Tests. You will learn how this information can help you diagnose and repair customer concerns correctly the first time. The goal of this course is to familiarize you with the various OBD-II systems and show you how to use the MUT-III in conjunction with the Service Manual to complete Readiness Tests, retrieve DTCs and Freeze Frame Data, and correctly diagnose the causes of Emission Test failures or Check Engine Light (CEL) concerns using the Mitsubishi 7-Step Diagnostic Process.

Anti-Lock Brake Systems (ABS)  
This instructor-led course is designed for technicians seeking to enhance their anti-lock brake and traction control system diagnostic efficiency and productivity. You will be able to accurately diagnose and repair malfunctions in the anti-lock brake and traction control systems by using the current diagnostic tools and a logical troubleshooting approach.

Automatic A/C 
Mitsubishi vehicles come equipped with both Manual and Automatic A/C systems. In order to diagnose these systems quickly and accurately, you need to understand the basics of air conditioning, the different controls used with automatic A/C systems, and how they work to maintain the passenger compartment Comfort Zone.

Automatic Transmission Evaluation (TEV) 
Identify normal function of a hydraulically controlled automatic transmission/transaxle Identify system operation: standard & locking torque converter, planetary gearset, clutches, brakes, bands, pump & hydraulic system. Identify automatic upshift & downshift processes. Identify diagnostic techniques: fluid condition, road testing, stall testing, pressure testing, flow testing, scan tool. On car hydraulic testing. 

Automatic Transmission Fundamentals (ATF) 
(Minimum requirement-must have completed the transmission cell in apprentice school) 
Identify normal function of a hydraulically controlled automatic transmission/transaxle. Identify system operation: standard & locking torque converter, planetary gearset, clutches, brakes, bands, pump & hydraulic system Identify automatic upshift & downshift processes. Identify diagnostic techniques: fluid condition, road testing, stall testing, pressure testing, flow testing, scan tool. 

Eclipse F6MBA 6-Speed Manual Transaxle
This course will familiarize you with the Dual Mass Flywheel and provide you with practice disassembling, inspecting, and reassembling the F6MBA manual transaxle introduced in the 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse. We will also review the operation of the Active Center Differential system introduced in the 2005 Lancer Evolution. We will show you how to diagnose and repair customer concerns correctly the first time.

ES1 
This course builds support for electrical circuit diagnosis through the presentation of electrical theory, component and circuit operation, Diagnosis techniques and hands-on diagnosis using the workstation and vehicles. 

Manual A/C 
Mitsubishi vehicles come equipped with both Manual and Automatic A/C systems. In order to diagnose these systems quickly and accurately, you need to understand the basics of air conditioning, the manual controls used to manipulate the various components, and how those components work to effectively cool the passenger compartment.

Manual Transaxles and Transfer Cases
This course will familiarize you with the various current Mitsubishi manual transaxles, transfer cases, and differential assemblies. Understanding how they operate and knowing how to properly disassemble and reassemble them will allow you to quickly diagnose and repair customer concerns correctly the first time.

MEDIC-II 
This course will familiarize you with the new MEDIC-II and provide you with experience navigating the various menus and screens to learn how this valuable new resource will help you diagnose Mitsubishi customers’ vehicle concerns quickly so you can Fix it Right the First Time. 

MFI

This course covers the operation of Mitsubishi Motors Multiport Fuel Injection systems which replaces MFIT and Engine Management Systems (EMS).

MUT-III Scan Tool Viewer
This course will familiarize you with details about MUT-III, including hardware/software roll-out phases, required equipment, and available options. It will also answer most of your questions concerning the MUT-III and MEDIC-2 integration.

Noise Vibration and Water Leaks NVW (2 Day) 
This course presents materials and shop practice exercises for the development of diagnosis and repair skills needed to efficiently and accurately correct noise, vibration, and water leak concerns. Classroom activities will familiarize you with the fundamental nature of sound and vibration, both normal and abnormal. Diagnostic methods covered incorporate the use of common electronic equipment. In addition, wind and water leak diagnosis is covered extensively. In the shop, you will gain hands on experience using a vibration analyzer, ChassisEar, and the ultrasonic leak detector to identify sources of customer concerns.
